T.C. Martin Jewelers was founded in 2007 by proprietor and master goldsmith Tommy Martin. Before our founding, Tommy worked as an independent goldsmith for seventeen years.
Tommy graduated from the Holland School for Jewelers in Selma, Alabama, in 1992. In 1995, he received his Graduate Diamonds diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. For thirty years, Tommy has been repairing, selling, and appraising jewelry in the Southern Maryland area.
The store is named after Tommy’s great-uncle, T.C. Martin (1896 - 1977), who served as Charles County Superintendent of Schools from 1951 to 1955. His name is shared by Tommy, Tommy’s son, and T.C. Martin Elementary School in Bryantown, Maryland.
